The Aid Coordination Committee (ACC) functions now sit with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade which bodes well with the direct engagement assumed by the Ministry with bilateral partners. Secretariat functions are also carried out by BRD Meetings of the ACC are chaired by the Hon Prime Minister and convened on quarterly basis.
The ACC assesses project submissions and decides on the use of Grant vs Loans including prioritization of projects to be funded under these facilities. All aid programs must be endorsed by the ACC before consideration and agreement is reached in conjunction with donor partners.
